UNABLE_TO_INIT_DXGI Issue / ArmA Support / Forums

First and foremost I have been playing across all servers properly with the proper mods for days on end since I have joined the unit, why this suddenly began occurring is beyond me.

Before someone replies something similar to ; "Have you altered or added any mods?" no I have not that would have been my first guess.

A basic rundown of what's happening:

I launch ArmA from the ArmA Launcher using the 501st Mods detailed here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=933218664
When I get to the main menu, it loads a certain dynamic background from the mods "Opposition Maps" & "Operation TREBUCHET".
My game suddenly freezes up and I am forced to close it through task manager.

I have tried using "-nosplash" and "-skipintro" in launch options to no longer display a moving background in the main menu, however once I load into the server I will pick a role, load in, and as soon as I see a hint of the game it will go black and freeze. (This was only tested on Summer Chernarus I am not sure what other maps it applies to).

I have ran the game unmodded, loaded up scenarios and showcases, and it works as usual. I have also ran the game using all mods but Opposition maps and Operation TREBUCHET and it will load as usual however without these mods I obviously cannot play on the server.

I have downloaded the ArmAholic version of Operation TREBUCHET and it still does not work.

I looked up the issue numerous times today, I looked for help in the TS, (Thank you to CR-C David for trying to help me out) but to no avail.

I am really begging here, I've exhausted my options so if anyone could help I would really appreciate it as I am eager to get back to playing.

I'll provide some of my PC Specs below ; Thank you

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170-HD3-CF
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1070
CPU: Intel Core i7 6700k 4 GHz
RAM: 2x 8 GB DDR4 RAM Sticks (16 GB Total)

Pretty sure that is all that is really necessary.

Edit: Opposition Maps is not the problem, only TREBUCHET

For all who encounter this issue in the future, do not use any TREBUCHET glasses on your profiles in ArmA 3.
